Nate Harris brings over a decade of experience in antitrust law, having served in both private practice and key roles at the Federal Trade Commission and the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. Most recently, at the Federal Trade Commission he served as Chief of Staff and Competition Attorney Advisor to Commissioner Melissa Holyoak, where he advised on high-profile competition matters during the last year of the Biden administration and the second Trump administration. His work at the Commission spanned enforcement actions, rulemakings, and broader policy issues, providing him with deep insight into agency decision-making and effective advocacy strategies.

Nate’s practice focuses on merger counseling, as well as representing clients in merger and conduct investigations before the Federal Trade Commission and Department of Justice. He also has litigation experience in merger and monopolization cases, including class action defense. He has advised clients across a broad range of industries, including technology, retail, consumer products, energy, health insurance, hospitals, medical devices, media, advertising, insurance broking, and defense.

Nate earned his J.D. from George Mason University’s Antonin Scalia Law School and holds both a master’s and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Utah State University’s Huntsman School of Business. He previously clerked for the Honorable Harris L Hartz of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
