Rule Garza Howley Continues Expansion with Hiring of Derek Moore, Azizur Aziz, and Carmen Lyon

WASHINGTON, DC, December 15, 2023 — Antitrust boutique law firm Rule Garza Howley LLP is growing to meet increased demand for antitrust expertise with the addition of three new lawyers: counsel Derek Moore and associates Azizur Aziz and Carmen Lyon.

Moore brings extensive antitrust experience inside and outside of government. During his lengthy tenure at the Federal Trade Commission, Moore’s positions included Attorney Advisor to a Commissioner, Attorney Advisor in the Office of Policy Planning, and Staff Attorney (on detail) in the Technology Enforcement Division of the Bureau of Competition.  Moore was previously part of the antitrust group at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP and served as law clerk for the Honorable Douglas H. Ginsburg of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit and for the Honorable Claude M. Hilton of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia

Aziz is a graduate of Boston University School of Law and was previously an associate at Ropes & Gray LLP.

Lyon is a recent graduate of New York University School of Law.
