Whitney Williams is a seasoned associate at Rule Garza Howley and specializes in a wide array of antitrust matters, including securing U.S. regulatory approval for mergers and acquisitions, coordinating with international counsel, and conducting comprehensive antitrust risk assessments for proposed transactions. She is also adept at representing clients in complex antitrust investigations and second requests.
With a diverse client base, Whitney has represented domestic and international clients in industries such as private equity, emerging technologies, life sciences, financial sectors, natural gas and electricity, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare. Ms. Williams’ experience includes representation of The Cigna Group in its sale to Health Care Service Corporation at an enterprise value of $3.7 billion, and Fox Corporation and the United States Football League in its merger of USFL and XFL. In addition, she has been featured in Bloomberg and is a contributor to the ABA’s Antitrust Law Developments, Ninth Edition.
In addition to her professional practice, Whitney is deeply committed to pro bono work. She has collaborated with local and national non-profit organizations on critical issues including immigration, housing rights, wrongful convictions, and international death penalty laws. Whitney is also certified to represent individuals before the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Whitney holds a J.D. from American University, Washington College of Law, and an undergraduate degree in Sociology from the University of Houston.
